it has a power/level controler, and the other button is a  trash eliminator, low and high...<-- if off i thinkit hits everything.. now i dont know where to change it to.. it seems like when i  move it right  to high on both buttons it does the same as if the button is turned off.. i do get differant sounds like sometimes a solid beep or a beep that sounds like its  not a solid beep .. ther a break in it.. what do i do with the power  button.. i have placed money silver gold nails pull tabs on ground and checked it and the sounds are like the same. unless i am doing something wrong,,

As you see, there is no headset for this  product. to i hard wired a head set to it removed the speakers and now use my head set on it works great that way just so dam loud, so i use my  custom earplugs and it perfet sound.... help  would be awesome..

I know it gets frustrating when you see some of the finds of other people.....I am also in the Vancouver area and makes for some frustration.....I think what you have to do is a little research into the best areas to spend your time.....from what I have learned (and trust me that is not much) it is almost 90 percent prep time for 10 percent searching.....if you dont an just go to a random spot chances are not good....especially in such a large country with a young history it makes spots to treasure hunt even more limited then say people in england/ireland/etc or the even the east coast of canada.

Some good places to hunt are beaches and parks but they hold the most trash i recommend you search a school and if your metal detector has the ability to discriminate i'd discrim nickels because alot of foil come up from the nickel area
