Found 23 US boyscout badges today in the same hole scratching my head on this one, one of them is a BSA Organizer badge the blue enamel has mostly came off. two silver coins two collar dogs WW1 two WW2 buttons, cutlery and one more 9mm bullet.
My detecting buddy had to extract all the badges as I could not kneel down so he had some fun with that job......HH....Johnn

Very nice Johnnn. It would appear to me that you came up on a camp site? Duffle bag spill? Could'a been all in a shoe box that got buried and the box deteriorated, or an old home stead bulldozed to the ground? Who knows, but great finds indeed  Clapp

Wow! what a great outing.

Seeing hauls like this really gets me fired up to head out, but the west coast fall rain is fairly persistent these days.

Johnnn   You always seem to be finding lots of scouting items. Are you hunting a scout camp or reservation??

Hi Mudflap,
The whole area is ex military, but in 1955 the "world bot scout jamboree" was held her with over 10,000 boy scouts from all over the world that's why these badges keep turning up.
Sure is a fun site....HH....johnnn.      Smiley
