Hi Xavier

I ended up selling the goldtooth with a bunch of other useless gold rings etc.
Yes the silver had rust on it.  I can't imaging why. 

I melted all of  that scrap Sterling silver and traded the resulting ingot for one-ounce silver ingots.  For my 25 Oz ingot I got 13 One Ounce J.M. silver ingots.  I still have the teapot and candlestick holders.

I like how you think  Great !!!...pretty effecient melting your scrap silver and converting it to bars...nice and neat.

I dug privies (outhouses) for years. After some time I had acumulated a lot of valuable stuff.  I decided to go on a selling campain...I sold all but a few of my favorite pieces.  I then purchased GOLD with all of the proceeds (US. gold Eagles and Canadian Maple leaves).

My thinking was that it would be as if I had dug the gold myself (since it all came from ground finds). I had almost 15K in gold coins!  Shocked (of course this didn't sit well with the "bride" who NOW (all of a sudden) became intersested in all of my "junk" finds. Needless to say the gold got sold and the money spent.  Cry

It was a nice thought though... having dug all that gold.  Kiss

(For those who might not know about privy (outhouse) digging just do a google search and you'll have your questions answered.)
