Go Up Go Down

Hi All,
Found these Musket balls in my collection.
Over many years searching our 1812 sites I have found a few thousand musket balls and every now and then a chewed ball will turn up these are most not all of them and you can see some have been given some serious chomping, nearly all are US callibre.
There is another unique ball that has a pattern carved into it, I really should sort out all these things so I can find them much easier.
HH  Johnnn

That is awsome Johnnn.

You have so many, it is like sensory overload.

Each one is a awsome item.

I have only a few from the Civil War era.

Hope you dont mind if I show them,

I found this one by the Arkansas River.

It is a fishing line weight made out of a mini ball,

I am not sure about this one. I thought it was shot at first.

It may be, but if it was, it was messed with afterward.

Happy Huntin,

Nice collection Johnnn! I find lots of them around here too. They chewed on lead back then like chewing gum.
