You can use Picasa to rotate it clockwise 180 degrees such that the character which comprises of 5 lines is at the 6 o'clock position. Read the following in that orientation.
Character at 12 o'clock position: YONG, meaning harmonious
Character at 3 o'clock position: TONG, meaning overall/coherent
Character at 6 o'clock position (the one which comprises of 5 lines): ZHENG, meaning positive
Character at 9 o'clock position: BAO, meaning treasure.
I do not know what the 2 stylized squiggles represent in the photo that is 303.59KB in size.
In all probability what you found is one of those "feng shui" coins. These ornamental coins are usually hung at the main entrance/doorknob of the house in order to attract wealth and prosperity to those who live there.
