Grin Grin Grin Wouldn't it be funny if we went out and you found a cash holding some gold coins. Only thing is that we are hunting the wrong place for this kind of stuff what we need are very old farms to hunt that's where they are. Especially in the Natal area.

Sorry Lord Dracon, No close ups on this one. If I give close ups, certain gold greedy individuals who we won't mention will try to claim it. You have to take my word for it it's gold, but It says 'baptist brotherhood'

Go Up Go Down

Peter, I'm sitting around the house waiting for it to cool down outside so I can  go outside for a hunt.  It is 91 degrees F on my back porch and 65% R.H. It will cool to about 85 by sunset and the R.H. will go up to about 80%. Not ideal hunting weather but tolerable. Fortunately this site I'm going to has lots of big trees. I did some moonlight hunting on my 3 day trip to Treasure Island. I taped a LED flashlight to the staff of my machine and hunted till 9:00 PM. It was nice and cool and I met 2 other hunters doing the same thing. One said he only hunts at night in the summer when the umbrellas and chairs are out of the way and the people are gone from the beach. Good luck on your Saturday hunt, I hope you find your cross.  Grin gambol

xavier-I'm going back to a site that I have 'Hunted Out' Not really hunted out but it has gotten to the point I seldom find anything there anymore. This time I'm taking my repaired Fisher F75S It now has a detection depth of 8 inches, 20 CM in damp sand for a U.S. dime. Before it was 5 inches, 12.7 CM. I am going to see if the added detection depth brings home any more finds.  Detecting
