Go Up Go Down

I was preparing for a bike rally some 25 years ago. About two weeks before the rally a friend of a friend arrived from Germany while I was at the girl fiends house. I can't seem to remember what was his name but he was one crazy guy. We had a BBQ that night that I came back from my weekend away from the guys, of coarse beer and brandy was in the order of the day or rather night. The next morning he made us all coffee (the crazy guy) but there was practically no water in it just brandy well the first one was odd the second was quite good and after that, well he made coffee every day. LOL

Go Up Go Down

I'm back, went for a 3 day hunt at Treasure Island Florida. The weather was excellent for this time of year. No rain, not too hot and a sea breeze.  Took all 3 detectors and combed the beach in front of the hotel  pretty well. Found no Real, no doubloons, no pieces of eight no Krugerrands and definitely not Peters cross. Nothing but clad and not a whole lot of that for the many hours of hunting. This morning I got up so sore and sunburned I felt like a hermit crab that lost its shell. I couldn't make it to the kitchen. Pat brought my coffee to the bed.  The good news is I got to try out the Sand Shark and it is a hot machine. Finds everything in the roughest water right down to a hair pin. Fortunately there wasn't a whole lot of trash in the water so I didn't spend a lot of time digging bobby pins like in Clearwater. The day I left I got my Fisher back from the repair center with a new coil and it works better than it ever has. The depth is now as advertised about 8 inches in clean wet sand on U.S. dime. It is still useless in salt water and very limited on salty sand but I understand all of them are like that. If you look back at my previous posts you will see I wasn't too happy with the Fisher when I first got it. I should have sent it back right away.
