Go Up Go Down

Marie and gone to her mother's.  My striker Navy Davy was sidelined by his agent citing "family matters."  Turned on the tube and caught the tail end of Swansea's bloody thrashing of WHU.  Inspirational.  My game today was an away one at a pitch in Spryfield against the Thugs.

The game started as a blistery north to south wind swept the field.  The pitch was muddy but not as bad as the one from yesterdays match where ND scored the brilliant 1648 half real.  Wreck Havoc sat on the sidelines not moving.

Three quick swings and I had bagged three coppers only to be thwarted at midfielder by a pull tab .  I was totally dispossed with my game plan thrown to the four winds.  Did make a nice offensive tackle taking out a Loony forcing a corner kick which floundered.  I was worn out as half time approached.  Gave Wreck the look in the hope that I would be substituted before the half time whistle as my knees were knackered. It was not to be.

Halftime I was in the locker room donated by McDonalds having a brew with my headphones on with some pep music but this bouys get up and go and got up and went!

The second half whistle finally sounded the end of the match with the Spryfield  keeper "Nottgetting Quota" keeping a clean sheet.

The transfer window was still open.  This worried me.  The boon was lowered as I was informed I had been relegated to the tier 4 team "Forlorn Hope" with team mates like Rooney and Richard Sharpe.....by George I'll make the  the "Best" of it.

Like Canada at the last World Cup.....just have to settle for the "t" shirt!

Bonus incentives for the match included a key to the trainers room, a tag to get me into the dog house, a keeper stating "point Zero"  ( a low blow by team owner's)39 coins of the realm.

Know now what my net worth is now!
