This was my first club outing for our local club (I just posted the club info in the Utah thread if you want to read more about it). It was great meeting with the group outside of just the club meetings. Last Saturday there they had a demolition derby, and the fair asked if we'd help them out by doing some cleanup so that when they get the next event in that arena (horses, cattle, etc) that it won't hurt any of the animals. Sounds like a good plan overall.
Wow! Lots of cleanup too!

Here are a few pics attached.
Oh, and of the mass trash picture - take that multiply that by two (that was 1/2 my findings for the two hours we were there), then multiply that by the 12 people that were there. That's a big stack of trash/scrap!

Thanks! hehe I'm sporting that new vest I picked up per my wife's recommendation she picked it out on Amazon - description read 'Outdoor Fly Fishing Vest with 16 Pockets' goes for about 39 bucks. Not too bad. I also picked up the Garrett treasure bag camo-gray hard to see in the picture, but I got it for about $13 on eBay. I like that so much better now that I'm a little more serious this year in the hobby than I was last year.

I'd say just in the past three months I've gotten more finds then I've collected in the past years combined! That tells you how much more active I've been. Well, then again maybe not. Perhaps some of you retired folks go out every day?
