DFX hunt finds

Had a great time at the 3RD annual DFXONLY hunt and met many great people.  The hunt was held April 18th, 19th, and 20th in Dover, Oh.  No silver for me this time but then again we can't hit silver every time we hunt can we.

I did walk away with some coins and scout relics as well as an experience I wouldn't have traded for anything.  I met many great people and made many new friends.

Here are some pics of the finds I made.  I'm still trying to find information on the neckerchief slide pictured below.  So far from what I've been able to find out I guess the slide dates back to the late 40's to early 50's.  I'll post more info on the slide as I find it.  Very interesting piece.

















After a quick dip in an ultrasonic water bath the neckerchief slide came out very nice and is probably my "favorite" find for me that I had made at the hunt.  I also came up with a 55 wheat cent as well as 2 quarters, 4 dimes, 4 nickels, and 10 pennies.

Wow the waterbath really cleaned the slide up. I have something similar to the item on the right of the slide in your photos - I've never known what it was or that it was scout related, I guess. Enjoyed your post and the pictures!
