Go Up Go Down

Well I got out for the first time this year, set my Euro Ace to just find the good stuff. Canadian coins mostly hit as
iron, I only wanted to snipe gold/silver today...and pulltabs...and beer caps.. and foil. etc etc. Oh yeah, and hash pipes  Crazy

Anyhow, the sun came out, and it was nice to get my first hunt of the year with my new take on how to detect, thanks
to these boards and the interwebs in general.

Oh, and of course my new Garrett Pro pointer...omg what a game changer. If you don't have one, get one.

Yeah, nothing older than a '72 penny there, 9 in total, and two Canadian nickels. Not too motivated to clean then up
much atm, perhaps I will invest in a rock tumbler in the future.

I am motivated to search this park much more, as it seems by the amount I have found, and the number of targets
I ignored there have been few hunters there.

I cant tell if the elephant is silver, its heavy, and it was a few inches under some old sod without much corrosion
but no markings, and the fact it looks like it came out a mold(has a seam), I doubt it is.

i think not.
there is corrosion on the feet and the ears where you can see the base metal underneath.
still a good find

love the pin pointer I bought one  a year ago and it is awesome,  great for crawling under old porches. nice digs too, at first glance I thought you had an old clay pipe.
colonial or something. is it metal? you say hash pipe, so nothing special?

Yeah just a normal headshop brass pipe it seems, I bet the dude still wonders what happened to it.

I don't use a pin pointer.   I have no need for one.
