I don't use a pin pointer.   I have no need for one.

same here. i own two of them.but never use them.
they came as a bonus with the detectors i bought over the years.

I bought mine out of necessity cause the acc 250 was piking up everything as small as staple. still need to call garrett on the machine.

Yeah, my Euroace is super sensitive too.

I still don't see how a pin pointer can't help you when a small target is hiding in either the sod, the hole, or the pile of dirt.

I'm not in a race.    Any detectors I use can zero in within a few inches of the target.   I just don't need one.

Fair enough, I just love mine though :p

Maybe I will feel less need for one when I upgrade from my entry level detector, but I have much more to
learn about technique until then.

I don't have any hi dollar machines.   When you learn your machines they talk to you.   You will figure it out.

Many folks swear by them.   I just don't see a need for the hassle  , batteries and cost.
