Rob, I'd very happy if I found gold in my backyard. That eagle is an extraordinary find. Like the bottle too.  Clapp

Thanks, I wasnt expecting anything like that! Im figuring that when the back filled when they built here all that stuff was in the dirt or from 1st owner whom is long gone and I hope he's not my next unusal find. I now live on a penninsula so who knows what will surface around here!! I'm looking forward to it,,Best Wishes ,,,Rob

Great finds there my friend. Everbody likes the eagle....well...me to. Is the back hollowed out  like or look like the back of an eagle? I was thinking maybe it was on top of a flag pole?Huh? great finds

Hi cache,
Thanks, as to your question, its flat on the back. this is not the type
of eagle for a flag pole. This is the type that would be found on a house or in an office for decoration and its pretty hefty, not like some of the ones that are made today. am still researching but Im sure its from the late 50s-early 60s,which is great as far as Im concerned. Now if its even older thats just icing on the cake and means a bit more value. again thanks, Best Wishes...Rob
