It's not as bountiful as it used to be.
I am satisfied with what I found the last 2 days.

Slime Picking here at any of the Parks.    Even the Old Schools are slim.   Can't even hunt any of the new schools.  All under Lock and Key.   Sad

We got too many newbies and they are leaving holes all over the place.
Hope they don't ruin it for all of us here.

Decent finds there at least you weren't skunked like I was at the last playground - they had shredded tires instead of the wood chips. I only found a penny and a small button. But hey it's OK now I know not to go back to that one at least.

Other day the wife and I walked past the local elementary school playground, on the perimeter, as the kids were playing a hundred yards away, and one of the aid ladies came over and told us no one is allowed on the school property during school hours. I can understand that considering Sandy Hook. Boy, the times sure are changing.....

Ever since all those weirdos did what they did at the schools, it has not been the same for us.
The schools look like prisontery schools.
I can't blame them either. I am a retired teacher and I can agree with them that the kids' safety comes first.

I once had to tell the school custodian about those shredded tire bits on the ground. They were coarsely cut and had pieces of the radial tire wires sticking out from the shreds.
Some of the pieces were avout 5-6 inches big with all the wire sticking out of them.
I tried detecting at a school with the shredded tires and I couldn't find very much. I guess there is some metal still in the shreds and it makes the detector not locate the coins.
