Ok......I looked it up.   Every reference I found says that 14kgp means 14 karat gold plated (i.e. non-au plated with 14 karat gold).    Time for another cup of coffee, GD.

BA, those are amateurs guessing. It doesn't mean gold plated. Look up gold hallmarks.
