Go Up Go Down

Just got my new Minelab XTC 3030 had to put it through the paces. Here in NJ we had a major snow storm down in South Jersey. Ground frozen and 1/2 foot of snow everywhere I went to the bay and caught a low tide still a hard dig but got about 2 hours in anyway. Here are the finds.
The top left corner has some design and notice the lower right corner a really worn dime. The rest is what it is.

I nearly spewed my coffee laughing here. I'm serious! It's dropped below zero here overnight and the LAST thing I would do is run to the beach.

You sir, are a true die hard metal detectorist. I salute you! You make me look like an amateur.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

After closer inspection of my Tuesday finds it was determined by the local coin guys that this is a cob and the piece is part of a coin by the raised insignia. Pretty cool !
