Go Up Go Down

I hit up a local school for about three hours this morning and found my first
gold chain 14 kt.  Shocked  The pendant seems not to be gold but the link from the pendant to the chain says 14 kt.
Could the image of Mary be gold pressed onto a brass or copper piece ?  Huh?
I also found this coin or token from what I don't know it's exactly the same on the other side, Does it look familiar to anyone ?
Thanks,
Wolfy

The pendant is tri colored gold.
Take it to a reputable jeweler that buys gold.
Most will test it free if you act like you may sell it.

BTW: I really like the Tri colored stuff. Kiss

Congrats.......

Smaller Gold Cains Elude most detectors.  Something to do with the Eddy Currents being Canceled by the Links I think.

Good Find.

The coin, Take another photo of both sides, wetted with oil or water!

Details will show better.

Have you taken a magnifying glass to the ring holding the medallion?
It may be the place with KT value stamped into it.
Several of the ones, I have found, are not marked on the medallion itself but on the ring.

Still love that Tri colored Gold........ Kiss
