Go Up Go Down

Yesterday I found my 1st gold ring. It was in the least expected place by a long ago closed park beach facility. I hunted the whole beach area. No more rings found. Almost finishing the sandy area when another detectorist came by and claimed to have found a beautiful 14kt ring in the same area the day before. So I got there a little too late for two gold rings in one hunt.  Angry Anyways, mine is a 10kt Romany ring and engraved KD. As seen in the 2nd pic it needs some welding. So October closed with 4 silver coins, 3 silver rings, one 10kt ring, a few wheaties, lots of clad, and of course lots of fun  Smiley

Congratulations on your find.  So what do you do with your finds like that?

Thank you for asking. Mi first find of anything is always a keeper. Now, all jewelry items and collectible coins will be left to my daughter and son when my time comes to say good bye to this world. As far as clad, I'm investing it in US Mint coins. Repeats of the same silver or gold coins, I'll try to trade or barter for those I might not have in my collection. With this said, you could realize that MD in my case is purely a hobby from which I derive lots of satisfaction and great moments. The rest just comes with it  Wink
