 Hello all i was invited out to go detecting on a friends land and found my first hammy Edward I (1272 - 1307)  Grin plus some other bits and pieces

I sure have he is a game keeper for a private estate and has acres and acres of land available plus all the local farms to detect on he was telling me about the land that there had been kings and battles on some of the fields so we should get some interesting finds hopefully i will keep you all posted  Smiley

  Now I really am very very very very jealous.

  I would lose myself on land like that for weekends at a time.

An hour and a half drive is well worth the possibilities of great finds, Krango!  Where I live, that is just a small hop to get into the mountains and old mines and other detecting areas.  A three hour to five hour drive is cause to think, but not much of a deterant!
