Hi TH  , Too much work , not enough metal detecting .  Finally got a chance to get back to an old 1800's home site that has been a favorite site for me for years . Never think these places are hunted out . Was quite a surprise to get some ,three of the same ,  flower buttons , one eagle general staff was also dug .   Found these coins within a foot from each other , around 5 inches deep . They  were hiding under a fallen rotted tree trunk . It pays off to move some stuff to check , I must have been near these dozens of times  . but never had a coil over them ...1806 Draped bust large cent  and 1772 Spanish half reale .  Then came the rain  ..it put an end to my 3 hour hunt but I hope to get back to this hunted out place . Good  day and have a Great Fall hunting season to all .   Thanks for stopping to look    CMD

Enjoyed looking at your finds - neat - plus good tip about moving things in order to check under them. Thanks, Sue

Nice going!  I've noticed over the years Wise that sometimes coins seem to be lost in only one spot of an area. So when I find one or so, I spend extra time around the same spot.
