Well - the temperature here in Indiana, finally dropped below 100 for a high. Still it was 96. Went to a nearby park - old but full of trash. Almost skunked there. Then decided to head over to the local grade school. Trying to detect here is like trying to dig through concrete with a straw. The ground is so hard and dry even my gator scoop wasn't enough to break through. Finally just settled for looking for clad in the playground - ended up with a 925 silver ring, a shiny silver ear ring with an "S" mark on it, a piece of child's costume jewelry and 65 cents in clad.
I'm not disappointed - I was just glad to finally get some time out!
Happy hunting!
