We were out in our backyard about a week ago, trying to hone our skills with our detector. (We are just now getting started in the hobby.) Yep, we were thrilled when this silver ring showed itself to us. It was about 3 inches below the grass roots in our backyard, a mere 20 feet from our back door. So, even though it was not found today, here it is. Thanks to member zul32 for the prompt to post...

Dont let that one go to the scrapper.  I know a lot of folks who sold their first silver find but it is cool to pull out your first finds from an old box and let it bring back the memories.
