We have been getting real close to 1 1/2 inches of rain here per 24 hours for about the last two weeks now, the rivers are flooding and the lakes, ponds and roadside ditches are full. So I haven't been able to get out to detect except when Mother Nature took a break on Monday and yesterday. I got out for 3-4 hours each day and sloshed and squished around in the overly wet ground while I swung the coil. It is quite an experience to locate, pinpoint, dig a plug and quickly grab your treasure before the plug fills up with mud and muddy water. This makes for some interesting hunting experiences. But I did manage some silver rings and a silver medallion to take home. The one in the top center was a heart-breaker.....the jewelers said it was a very nice silver ring (stamped 800 w/2makers marks) with a 1 karat simulated diamond center stone. Man....what a letdown....maybe the next one will be the real deal. Thanks for looking and HH Gold Nuggets

If Gold is where you find it, then I need to start looking somewhere else.
