Go Up Go Down

A local bar called me today and asked me if I could find a ring that was lost in a snow bank Saturday. It seems a driver of a tour bus lost his wedding
ring Saturday, while the tour group was stopped for lunch at the bar. When he was leaving to go to the tour bus a lady slipped and started to fall, he grabbed her to prevent her from falling, when he did so, his wedding ring slipped off his finger.

The bus driver and everyone on the tour bus looked and looked for the ring, in fact they looked for two days. The bar owner called me today and asked for my help.

It took me a grand total of 10 minutes to find it. I told him to return the ring to the driver, no charge.

That was my good deed for the month. LOL

HH, Ringfinder

Yes is does, everytime I return one.  One of the oldest rings I ever returned was over 85 years old.  I returned it to a fellow who lost his mothers wedding band when he was 8 yrs. old. He was 78 years young when I returned the ring to him.

Nice story!
Glad you were able to find and return that ring. Good PR, that puts someone else in our corner now.

Ringfinder, Nice story. having lost My wife's wedding ring once,(she put it in a coat pocket and I gave the coat to the Salvation Army).  I know the driver was happy to get it back.

I guess every lost ring has a story. I found a child's ring in an open lot. When I got to looking around I found 37 cents in coins scattered about within 2 feet of the ring. I noticed there were deep heel marks in the grass and a broken ball point pen. I couldn't help but think that there was some kind of a struggle there.

good job and well done it's nice to help out.......also just think in the future if someone ever wanted to detect on that drivers yard or property he'd probably say yes why not... helping people out helps us out as well.
