Went out today to play in the snow, spent an hour on the old football field. Hit a few goodies.
I had cabin fever since it was 22 degs today.

This reminds me of a post last year when someone posted about checking where the  piles of snow are at Walmart and other parking lots. Folks dropping there change, billfolds etc... and the snow plow pushing it all in one place.

Congratulations, Axe, on having the temerity to brave the 22 degree weather!  You must have had cabin fever real bad!

That is some serious cabin fever! But understandable. I've had days like that. You just got to do something to scratch the itch. Good finds though.

I'm sure glad I don't have to deal with 22o F weather  Smiley     (but then my cabin fever sets in in the summer when it gets above 105o)

but finding anything beats hitting your head against a wall or barking at the wife.

I live in minnesota and went out to detect, but the ground was frozen solid. I could not dig, it would take a jack hammer to dig up good signals. what do you use to dig up targets.                                                  Chewy

Chewy, it would be hard to carry a jack hammer and a detector at the same time Grin I hope you thaw out pretty soon. I know that you have got to be chewing at the bits to get back to looking for that great find!

Here in New Jersey we have had unseasonably warm weather, 50's, 45 ish then snow and 22 degs last 3 days and today hit 55. the ground is wet and dig-able the surface is just frosty.
I guess were lucky.
