GreyRider, I've been praying for rain but none in weeks. When this sand drys out it decreases the depth rapidly. I did a ground test at the site this morning. 5 inches is the max detection depth for a quarter at the present time. ( F75S.) Under the best conditions 11 inches is the maximum for my machine. I dig about 1 coin a year deeper than 8 inches. I bought this machine because it had a reputation for a deep capability. Not so. My ACE 250 with a smaller coil finds coins at 6 inches occasionally.  I went to this site again this morning and found a belt buckle and another pentium chip. Still no silver.  The clad is begining to run out at this site today. fifty six cents total today. I looked up aerial photographs of the site in 1952, There was a house on the site but in a different location. The foundation I'm hunting around was built in the 1960's. Tomorrow I'm going to try the earlier location.

Xavier, I keep trying. Its out there somewhere!!! Got to find those gold coins before Peter gets them.

Cool. Used good detective work on the old aerial photographs. Bet you can't wait to md the new (older) site. With all the good finds you have found on the newer one, it makes one hope you will find as many or more better ones on the older site Good Luck and thanks again for sharing.

Went back again today, The clad has pretty much played out. Today I found a dime and 2 pennies. I also found a badge and 2 more microprocessors. One is a Celeron. Strange. The only other electronic part I've found there is a digital hour meter. How this got there is a mystery.
