beautiful sunny day in Melbourne
i manage 3 hours  Detecting on the beach (dry/wet sand). plenty of finds but no gold.  Sad
few silver coins  Smiley  that i will have to clean up first and post new pics and a junk ring.

i have been collecting lead for many years. Shocked
one day i will take the lot to the scrap metal guy and convert them to beer. Wink

Cool, Looks like your having a blast, A few beers at the end of a days detecting is time well spent   Wink

I have been testing my ARB fridge freezer out, I got 47 cans in there set at 2*c, I will let you know how they taste when the testing is done,   Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

you need to do the very important before and after test.
Just in case they go off at 2 *c  :Smiley

When you say "go off" do you mean Go Pop as in Bang ?  I have tested the accuracy of it temp gauge and it is spot on but if that's the case then I might have to up it to about 3 or 4* just for safety sake   Huh?

Well what should I set it at ? I tried 3* and it was right on the edge of chilled, I just a digital thermometer in there and set the fridge to 1* and the thermometer was reading 1.1*c so it's pretty accurate, the guys in the prospecting forums all said set it to 2*c I had it set to 3* which I thought was cold enough ?

Yeah mate sad to say I can't the genuine 4.9% stuff over here and I don't like the other brands they sell here, At lease I got an Aussie Fridge to keep it in   Great
