Go Up Go Down

I graduated myself from the backyard to the house that my wifes' family used to own outside of town.  Got permission, a babysitter and went the same day.  It's allot of property so I considered it a recognizance mission (but hey, I'll admit to some wishful thinking.  Why else would we do this?)  I found out some useful things about the demolition of the house after it burned that was confirmed by the amount of charcoal that I found in some areas.  After pulling iron for a while and finding part of a tin spoon or scoop I explored the spring houses as a possible area to go over later more patiently.  I'm itching to sit down with the father-in-law and show him the pictures I took and get stories out of him about where old trees were, where people ate outside, etc.  I love this stuff!  Any advice or tricks about burned houses would be greatly appreciated.
