welcome to TH, Modernday49er! thanks for joining us. The point is that the image was pulled off the net, not out of the ground and the perpetrator was caught in a lie. If you went through the whole thread there is nothing in dispute here.

Before you judges us and the way we handle things you need to read the whole thread along with his other thread about finding gold coins buried at 5m and posting yet another picture stole of the net.

If you're talking about the bracelet, he bamboozled us all by snagging a picture off the web, mate. Not a genuine find. In following the policy of this forum, it was left as an example to others of what not to do. Scan through the entire topic to get a better glimpse of what transpired.

Same here. I was ready to leap up and down over that one.

I do love this hobby. So many wonderful benefits and we find cool stuff, too!

Ohh come on Crazyscot!  Just because his awesome golden bracelet from the roman era is exactly the same kind of piece doesn't mean that he is a liar!  Just because his pic has the exact same shadow and shading as the 2007 pic does not mean that he is a wretched bum of a faker!  Not at all!  It's just coincidence I tell you all!! The fact that he has chosen to take a picture of his bracelet at exactly the same angle and with the exact same shadows does not mean that he is the lowlife wretch that you have accused him of being!

Really though, who would be so pathetic to do such a thing?  How could you accuse our new buddy of being a loser of such a lowly level as to feel a need to attempt such a blatantly desperate fabrication in order to live some cyber dream of a life outside of his own attention depraved reality?

It's ok faker, don't be blue!  I believe you!  I'll be your buddy and we can write lies to each other every night.  BTW, I am really Prince Edward and I want to invite you to the castle for some fox hunting!  Just come on down and tell the guards that Eddie sent ya!
