Well it finally happened in a yard in Libby 1961 men's class ring. It had a link on the band so my guess is that a girl friend had this on a chain. I also found a 1906 Barber dime and about 10 Wheaties in another yard. I also found in a third yard 1918s merc,1945s&1945d mercs plus Wheaties and a cool ornate brass piece. This my best gold ring and is only my 3rd ever.I also found a silver wire ring that some one made plus a piece of play money.

Wow that ring is stunning, are you going to try and find it's owner?

I am happy for you KB. Not too many people in our club of 100 have ever found gold rings out here in Phoenix. Three gold rings....fantastic. I haven't found any yet, just a few silver rings size 6 and under. Just got to keep looking. I probably will faint when I do.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
