Aha, the oddities of life! Can't live without them, right?  Undecided My first find yesterday in the woods was the pack of keys in the pic that someone lost many years ago (if anyone can figure the era by looking at the keys or the medal, please help). What an oddity that the fob medal attached to the key ring depicts Ullr, the German mythical God of Winter, a talisman to bring good luck to skiers. In fact the front bottom of the medal reads Good Luck.  Crazy The company in the link below makes those medals and advertise them as the best memento because unlike hats that get lost and t-shirts that get dirty, the medal lasts forever. Well, it didn't last forever to the unfortunate owner who after enjoying a great day in the woods, at the end of the day noted that he/she lost all the keys: house and car.

Can you imagine? It's already late, no cell phones, no squad patrol, you are two miles away from the closest phone, had to break you house's main door to get access, your family was left behind in the woods with lions, and tigers, and bears, Oh My!  Cry
