Go Up Go Down

Got out early this morning, the weather wasn't looking very good. Started raining when I pulled out of my driveway Smiley
I made plans with some friends to meet at a park on the water about 20 minutes away. This park hosts a great festival every year and it's one of my favourite's Smiley  I thought it was this month some time.
When I got close to the park they had a banner hanging above the road "Waterfront Festival June 22-24th" !!!! Man was that depressing; how did I miss it! To make things worst the skies opened up and now it was pouring!
A couple minutes later I arrived at the park Smiley
{alt}
Sat in the car a few minutes and the rain started to subside some, well I thought I might as well check it out and see if they left me a few quarters or something Smiley
{alt}
I couldn't believe my luck! 2 loonies and I only walked 15' a minute later I got another good hit and was rewarded with 2 toonies and a quarter! I couldn't believe that no one has detected here since the festival Smiley
{alt}
I quickly went into FM (festival mode) Smiley FM is like a organized seated hunt for me, but it free Smiley I hunt as fast as I can only grabbing the surface stuff to about 1" down, whatever my viba probe picks up. I can always go back later for the deeper stuff Smiley
Any way I guess because of the rain no one else showed up, I had the park to myself Smiley
Here's my pile of goodies.
{alt}
Here's the neat stuff Smiley
The small ring is 10K; even in FM I can still get the small gold Smiley
{alt}
Here's the rest of the loot, it started to rain again so I didn't finish sorting Smiley
$30.00 in Toonies and Loonies alone.
I didn't do a final count yet but it's got to be around the 40 dollar mark Smiley
The 2 things on the right are fake toonies Smiley

Those are fake toonies Christian. Toonies are 2.00 Canadian coins.  Man that was a good day for ya Colin. I must be doing something wrong. Yesterday was the city parade, then a gathering in the park where the parade ended. Festivities all day long. I went out early this morning and only found about $10.00 in clad. Of course there is only about 1500 people gathered all day. Oh well, some is better than nothing.

Hi Whitewolf; 10 bucks is pretty good, the festivals I hunt can have up wards of 5000 people a day. Times that by 3 days, if you do the math than you actually did better than me Smiley

Hi Christian.. yes those are fake toonies; actually chocolates that are wrapped to look like toonies Smiley

Colin
