Go Up Go Down

Nothing fancy about this find but since I have a small digital camera again I thought I would post this to see how it turns out.  If I can get the post to go through alright then I expect to be posting some pictures of my finds finally.  I hadn't seen one of thse in quite some time and the interesting thing about it was that it had been broken but I was able to find both pieces about a foot and a half from each other.  Doesn't appear to be very old but like I said it's a start to see how it will work posting some of my finds.  I apologize in advance if the quality doesn't seem very good but the picture was taken on my cell phone.  I found this last weekend when I was able to get tout for about a half an hour.  Both pieces of the key were found approximately 3 to 4" deep.

Well...although the quality could have been a little better it looks like it will do for all intents and purposes of posting finds.  I also found 0.35 clad that day as well.

I am looking forward to posting pictures of some of my other finds both past and current and also some of the sites I have hunted.

Thanks for viewing.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your finds!

This key looks like if it belonged to a safe?! I wonder why someone would have broken it into two pieces?! Strange!

Thanks very much for the input Christitan.  If it belonged to a safe maybe it's still around here somewhere. Grin Grin Grin Grin

I'm not sure why a person would have broken it or even what the metal content of it is.  Other than wiping the dirt off of it that is how it came out of the ground.    When I found it it was bent and while trying to straighten it I realized that in order to break it like they had there would have been a lot of force put to it to break it the way it was.

I also am looking forward to posting more pictures now since I'm able to again.
