Well everyone you just don't know what you will find. I spent about 3 hours out this morning. Found a few coins and this chunk of silver! Does anyone out there recognize the hallmark...LOL. Somewhere out there someone is having to eat baby food instead of steak!

Brings to mind a movie. "Bridge" Over the River Kwai. That's quite a loss there.

In the past, members from Japan have found some oblong gold coins worth quite a bit. They are about 4 times the length of an ordinary coin and really nice to look at.
