Hey people, I know you are great and knowledgeable. Is there any buckles collector or savyy that could help me ID the timeframe of this shoe buckle I found? Any other info is also welcomed for I did not know that buckles in general have a long and interesting history. The buffalo nickel I also found in the same place, but it's just for size reference

anything written on the other side?  Otherwise I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope since that's a pretty common buckle style (and not just for shoe buckles)

Well maybe is just a standard buckle, not necessarily a shoe's one.
