Main items found were three indian cents and a plated gold wedding band.. Seems that when I find an old wedding band , they are either plated or filled, not solid.. Other interesting note, is that the yard may have been gone over with the  Discrimination set for Cherry picking. Most of what I found would have dropped out, cordially nad

Hm, I found an Indian head cent around an old inn built in 1835.  It was just laying in a washed out ditch, but boy was it corroded.  It was horribly pitted, but it was from 1867 the date was hardly legible.  It was a bit of fun to find it, but I just wished that I found more things with my metal detector.  I'm going to have it sent in to have it looked at.

Anyways, nice finds.  I usually just find junk and sometimes if I'm lucky a rewarding find sometimes.  Keep in beepin'. Wink

me and my friend mike went to an house built in 1784 and now its just a giant chimnely on top of a huge hill it awesome hes found 3 pieces of spanish silver there and over 100 buttons including civil war naval buttons and regular civil war buttons but a doctor lived there.
