Again!  More nice finds, Anthony!   I fully agree with Adrian See about the areas you hunt in!   Some of us think you ARE finding the serious and important finds!

What kind of weather do you have there where you hunt, in the winter-time?  Does it snow there or are you in more temperate climes further south?  You seem to be detecting all through this winter.

Also, I'm interested in what has happened both historically and archaeologically in the area you hunt to cause all the villages and towns to disappear, leaving behind the great areas you hunt?

Anyway, a hearty "congratulations" to you on your many finds!  Thanks for sharing with us all!                     Wise

Thank you! In plain Crimea is steppe climate, temperate continental and dry. We have a cool winters (average January temperature of -3 to 0 C) and hot summers (average July temperature of +21 to +23 ° C) Rainfall - 350 - 450 mm / year, with most of it falling in the summer in the form of showers. Crimean history can be divided into several periods. This Prehistory, Antiquity (Cimmerians, Scythians, Greeks), New Era or The Migration (Tauris, Goths, Huns), the Crimean Khanate and the Ottoman Empire (Crimean Tatars, Turks) and the Crimea in the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union.
