is there any writing on them and a few more photos at different angles and sharper focus with asomething known near them for a better size
would help i d em.  I have one similar that is a grand army republic  tiny button, but  need more 411 to make that call.

No expert but you have recovered pack rivets  , used to fasten leather  &  horse tack .

These rivets  were around for many years inc. Civil War era of the 1860's .

 save them !
