TabDog's digger looks like you could pry a Volkswagen from the ground if you had to. Amazing!

I want to know how he got that grooved channel in it.

Heck GD, that was tha easy part. The Craftsman breaker
bars already has a channel in it.

{alt}

I had a 15" long 1/2" breaker bar I was not using. The
ratchet is strong enouh to put a 6 foot cheater bar on.

The metal they make those ratchets is stronger than
most metal you will have in your shop.

It will not dull. It will not bend.

If you have done auto mechanic work, you know what
I am talking about. Just try to bend a ratchet.

Much stronger and better than a screw driver. It scoops
dirt.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

If you check out the photos, you can see where I
dug a soda can at 8 inches deep. You could not
even tell I was there.

I knew it was a soda can. I just wanted to take
photos of tha digger in action.

I had to streach tha hole just to get it out.

No roots were cut.

Unless they saw me, they never knew I was
there.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

Ah, I see now. The groove is part of the breaker bar. Mine are all round. I'll keep my eyes peeled at garage sales for an older one like that.

That is a simple recovery tool that works best in wood chips. When using it, I
usually do not have to bend over except to pick up tha target.

{alt}

It makes recovering targets in wood chips faster and easier.

You buy a Camp Fork at Wal- Marts Sporting Goods section for $2.97.

Cut about 3? off the two ends of the fork. Bend the fork ends in a slow spiral
as in the photo.

{alt}

Bend an 80 degree angle just below the handle. Make a slight bend below the handle as in photo.

{alt}

Now you have a genuine Arkie Barkie Twister.

Check  out this short, un-rehearsed, crummy video,

I have been using this tool for about 1 and 1/2 years now. I am still sold on it.

It will not work well if there is a lot of roots in the wood chips. That will cause it
to start bending.

I have a Cordless Arkie Barkie, and a TID modification that rocks!

Hope you enjoy my ideas.

HH,

Tabdog
