wow! wish my house backed on to a medieval battle site.... here in Canada the natives were the only ones here at that time... all they used was stone and a bit of copper sometimes, not very good for metal detecting that era around here. Anyways great finds.
HH,
Beau

Here try this, In this chapel some Knight's were held up in there as a sanctuary after the battle so they would be safe and the Yorkist's  Dragged them out side the chapel and hacked them to piece's I have been there and I know the Farmer who owns the land and I have permission to Detect there,

There was about 60,000 Lancastrians and 90;000 Yorkists   and this is the biggest Bloodiest Battle Ever fought on British Soil and the weather was Very extreme to say the Leased. In the chapel there are Knights Graves in the floor and when you go there you cant help feeling the sadness as you read the story of what went on there,

HH,
Beau

I was watching a show on TV about scientists that had discovered ancient evidence of Celtic inhabitants in Canada, the US Midwest and even South America. Maybe you just might get lucky yourself.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
