It might be something innocent, even just a pagan symbol offering and nothing to do with
anything being burried,?

Yeah. I saw a miniature coffin sold online to bury a past love . It has a receptacle to place jewelry, like a ring, that is symbolically buried to leave it in the past. In that case, I would tell the person, to issue the ring to me. I'd help him/her forget that the ring ever existed  Grin

The Wicca folks have a ceremony that goes like that in fact we have a store that moved here after the big storm in New Orleans that sell things like that

Thanks Ridge and Seldom. I guess that this coffin find, although still in its place, it's a curiosity to say the least. I just took a picture of it, but it has opened many interesting discussions about its content and purpose. We'll never know what was inside that set off an MD or if it was a wild animal digging, but it is nonetheless, a great conversation piece. Once more, we humans possess infinite brain knowledge for the most incredible ideas and deeds  Wink

Filling in your hole takes no more then 10 seconds but i'd guess if the guy doesn't fill in his holes he's either a ass, child, beginer

Maybe the first thing. Holes were too big to be child made and a beginner usually try to stick to the rules. I have seen many other uncovered holes in parks in my area. I wonder if it is the same a$$hole. The other day I saw a folk, old guy, making big holes with a small shovel in the same park I was kicked out from by a police officer for just poking the ground with my digger. Come on! A shovel in a park? You see in a distric park I make holes no deeper than about 6-8". But that's just me. In the woods, it is a different story, but at district parks, I'd never bring a shovel. Where is my dear officer?   Undecided

Its not just beginner guys theres a guy here that has been hunting 20 years and have never filled a hole some folks are just losers. Plus he just throws the junk iron or old can pieces a few yards away for a kid to get hurt on.
