They were popular back in the 70's and changed color when (supposedly) your mood changed. I think they worked on blood flow in you fingers. They react to temperature.

My wife wanted a diamond and I bought her one of those mood rings, when she is in a good mood it is blue or green Kiss

........but when she is in a BAD mood it leaves a RED mark on my head when she smacks me! LOL Cry
