Go Up Go Down

Went back to the Outdoor rink today for another quick spin.  Dug 38 targets and got 1.96 in clad.  After I dug the "Loonie gold" (Canadian dollar) I decided it was time to go home as I was getting a bit tired, that was when i noticed i had my sensitivity out of whack and way to the right so I most likely missed a bunch of targets for the last 20 minutes or so.  Ah well, guess me an excuse to head back there tomorrow if i can Smiley

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Homie,

When you get that neon going, and that detector finished, I am sure you will be finding lots of good stuff again. Hang in there.

Congrats on the clad. It all adds up. Yes, the settings do get out of wack every once in a while. Important to check them but easy to forget. Don't worry, we are all guilty of that and it will happen over and over.

During the thrill of the hunt, we tend to get tunnel vision and not only in forgetting to check the controls, but forgeting to rest, or hydrate, or even eat.

That is the truth Smiley  I am always forgetting to take a drink from the water bottle in my backpack.  There is always one more blip or beep to track down Smiley
