I hit up another beach this morning this is what I found.
Zippo lighter, 4 tokens, 1971 half dollar and this coin I don't know where it's from, anybody ?  Huh?
This golf token comes from a driving range that used to be in San Francisco right next to where the home of the SF Giants play, it was demolished sometime around 2000.
The bottom picture is $106.00 I need to take to the bank it puts me at around $550.00 since I started.
Gotta love this sport !

FC.jpg appears to be a Thai coin.

I read somewhere that banks were reluctant to accept odd looking coins like when they lose their patina for being buried for a while. $500 in found clad is goooood money Cheesy. I don't really recognize the person in your token. You can look at mine and see if you can come up with something for me. I still need to solve its mystery. What is in the back of the token?

Most banks reedem uncurrent (or tarnished) coins like the ones we find buried, but not all. In that case take 'em to your local Federal Reserve Bank. They do reedem them for new ones. The US Mint handles mutilated coins directly.

I'm new to this site, so this is my first posting...........I always 'tumble' my coin finds before taking them to the bank or just spending them.  A mix of sand and water, then 24 hrs later all of the crud is off.  The only negative to this is the new copper plated zinc cents tend to deteriorate in this process.

I don't even bother to pick up zincolns. I only dig out cooper cents prior to 1982.  Zinc pennies deteriorate as soon as they hit the ground and eventually desintegrate. Furthermore, if they are already deteriorated when found the only way you'll get new ones is sending them to the US Mint for replacement. Is it worth the effort? I don't think so unless you are mailing 1000s of them. Did you know that a copper penny has a melting value of about 2.5 cents? The melting value of a zincoln is roughly half of its face value. The metal value of a nickel 1946-2010 is about 6 cents. However, the US Mint has prohibited the melting of coins for profit. You can even go to jail for melting pennies or nickels  Police. So keep those old pennies and nickels because they are more valuable now and will continue to be. Are you spending them in candy?  Club.

We have no money anymore.  Un-money is what we have now.  Our so called money is not backed by anything except the full faith and trust of the federal government.  The Federal Reserve is not even a part of our government...they steel from us every time they print a paper dollar.  This is what inflation is.  Read all about money, how it started, who controls it and who owns it.  Learn how we the people are just tax slaves for the super rich.
