I prefer to pick up the zinc pennies for the same reason I pick up the pull-tabs----so neither I nor the detectorist behind me has to worry about it anymore (besides every once in awhile, I get one that is usable)

I respect your opinion, things are tough nowadays, but I don't see myself as a slave of anybody. I feel very free! I guess that we all had the same opportunity to become super rich but we just chose not to. Actually, I don't want or need to be super rich because with the money or un-money I make I can satisfy all my needs and even save some of it. I don't know am just happy with my life style. If I can somehow make an extra buck here and there, it's fine, but no rush if it doesn't happen. Take care!  Wink

mind you, i only go detecting every now and again, not as often as i would like.
