Go Up Go Down

Here are my finds today. Not much. All of the items came from the "Junkyard". Interestingly the 5 cent piece and the "Chucky Cheese" coin were right under my foot when I stepped out of the truck. A new loss. The Pennies and dime came from a trashy part of the park where kids sit around drinking soda from cans. The polished stones came from a part of the park where they hold a "craft fair" and farmers market every Saturday. I have never found any coins there. Guess I will have to keep trying.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Thanks for caring RR. Missed out on a lot of the fun on the forum. Charger for laptop burned up beyond repair and had to wait for a new one to come. But I'm back better than ever.

Yes I was using the Tesoro Vaquero with a 5 x 10 elliptical coil. Covers a lot of ground yet gets into small places. I had to use a lot of discrimination because of the junk, but the coins came through loud and clear. Most were only buried two to three inches.

Anyone out there have a 4 X 7 Tesoro coil for the Lobo? It has the 4 pin plug.

They even work better with the widescan ("Double D") over the concentric. I prefer the elliptical shapes.
