Not only that my daughter will give me another grandchild in a few months, but she also works for a bank and brought me these nice Kennedy Silver Halves from 1964 (6), 1965 (1), and 1967 (2). She has a customer that comes occasionally to cash silver halves that he inherited from his grandfather. She will check tomorrow for she thinks he brought in more. I originally thought that the 1965 and 67s ones were clad, but nooo they are all sweeeet silver.  Cool

The 64's and before are 90% silver, and 65 through 69 are 40% silver, everything after that is completely clad.

Congrats on the grandchild Cyber  Clapp  Up till 64 was  highest silver content.  64, 90% silver ...65 thru 70,,,40% silver. Its SILVER and that always a great gift.  In 71 all silver was removed form the coin.
