I'm learning the art of knocking on doors and hunting the curb to the sidewalks around here.

If you don't mind ; would you please tell the rest of us ; what you are saying to them etc to get them to allow you to MD on their property.

A lot of Folks are really Shy about asking permission; so whenever possible I like to ask , someone who is use to doing this , to share their style / technique  for door knocking, in hope that it will em bold others to do the same.

Thanks !!

Oh and door knocking eh? that sounds a good idea  Great .... gonna harass my neighbors, see if they let me dig up their nicely mancured lawn  Wink i'm sure they'll be up for it ... looks like they are starting to get interested in what i'm finding in my own yard Smiley (not a lot really... but don't tell them that.. you never know what you might find!  Grin)

If you plug Dig then you won't mess up their nicely manicured lawns, matter of fact most of the time they can't even tell where u dug.

Exactly, thats why i'm quite sure that they won't mind... you cannot tell where i have dug up finds in my lawn (also nicely manicured)... and always firm the soil lightly and maybe take a little soil from the border to replace what you lost from the plug hole so that a depression does not appear later!
