Go Up Go Down

Nice goin Barry, i found a friends wifes wedding band for him years ago he told me the spot she lost it in a ball field during a benefit softball game they went there many times trying to find it. He didnt know i had a metal detector until we were all at work one day talking and he heard me bring it up that i went metal detecting, he told me the location said it was around 3rd base so i took a day and went there. Now this ring was in the ground for 8 years, i took my yellow stake markers and made a square around the 3rd base and dug some pull tabs but after about an hour there was the ring about 3inches under the sode. I put the ring in a film container and took it in to work to give to him when i did nothing but tears came to his eyes and he asked me if he owed me anyting, i told him no, the look on his face was enough i could still see that look today. But what he did was buy me lunch (never told me he was going to do that at work it was paid for) and when i came home that day there was a case of beer on my deck. So treasure the moment, anyting else is a bonus for me. Happy Huntin!!! DW

I use the pass it along theory....meaning no matter what the good deed might be...finding something, fixing a flat tire for a stranded person,....I tell them to pass along the good deed to the next person they see in need.Don't know if it works but I hear stories of people helping others so it must.

Barry,

$20 is fine for silver, $50 for gold rings.
A pro would ask a lot more, travel expenses plus their usual rate.
Well done.
