While my wife was turning up pieces of melted aluminum, I was turning up binoculars and parts of license plates.   The larger one was a commemorative plate issued by New Mexico in 1940 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Coronado's trek through New Mexico looking for the 7 Cities of Gold.  Too bad it isn't complete.   A complete one in really good shape with all the paint recently sold on e-bay for $183.50  Cry
     The screw top bottle cap is from an old glass 2 liter coke bottle.

The one piece looks like it might be something from a fuel system? It has a threaded male flare fitting on the bottom. Nice finds, Foiled

      Thanks, everyone.
      I had forgotten that they made the glass 2 liter coke bottles until I mentioned finding a large coca cola screw top lid to a co-worker about my age.   As for the binocular, they are complete except for one missing rubber eye cup.   Whether I could get them working or not is another story---all the years exposed to the elements have given them "cataracts" on all 4 lenses that would need to be dealt with.  I didn't remove the "car" part from any of the cars, but I did find it close to one of them.   The fitting is actually threaded on both ends (sticks out as far on the other side of the cylinder).  The lettering around the top says "Imperial Brass Chicago".  I haven't had time yet to try to identify it, so if any of you want to take a shot at it, go ahead.

B.A., I did a quick google of Chicago Brass and found a faucet seller by that name founded in the 1980's. I don't think that is it. This looks older. I think I have seen a plumbing company that marks their brass parts "Chicago" but I didn't find it. What are the other words on top ofit?

Across the top, it says "Imperial Brass" and below that "Chicago".   I've shown it to my master mechanic brother-in-law.  He says it is a (hydraulic) accumalator.   It wouldn't be found on moder T's, but it might be found on model A's and other makes from the same time period.
